Valentine's Day is near and I'd love it if you would send me a thumbnail from your gallery showing love and emotion. You can also include a poem, prose or literature. If you have a special message you want to share I'd love to feature it.
This lovely dedication is given to me by meplost
On a side note, I recently started making avatars and stamps for points. The contributor can have a spotlight feature if they choose to fore-go the stamp or avy. That's my way of saying thank you for donating
Groundhog Day is celebrated on February 2 in the United States and Canada. According to folklore, if it is cloudy when a groundhog emerges from its burrow on this day, it will leave the burrow, signifying that winter will soon end. If it is sunny, the groundhog will supposedly see its shadow and retreat back into its burrow, and winter will continue for six more weeks.[taken from From Wikipedia]
Thank You Laura for the wonderful feature. And also, for Valentine's Day, you can pick which one you like :thumb194999113: [link] or :thumb195751728: [link] . ttys...haven't been on much lately. Oh, and I love your new journal top...I know of 33M, she's a lovely woman. AND fantastic work..every one of her's is awesome.
You are always welcome My dear friend. To send anything less in the month of February would be to waste the expressions found in the care a man should hold in his heart for the Fair Sex of our species. Long gone are those days when a poem would woo a Damsel, And now we are left with things like. Hi Can I get you a drink? You know what would look good on you" me" type things which in days of old would be enough to Cause an old fashioned Duel. I love romance and the beauties found in life whether the giving of a rose to a lady, or a kind word to someone who is sad and having a bad day.I hope that this comes back one day for the good of the ladies and the class of what these days gave us in literature and art. Live like the day is almost over, Search the Happiness your heart demands, and hold tight the past days where a woman was treated with honour and care, a written note of intent, and the mystery of romantic intent of a man. be well and as always be safe as you can. xx
Is it possible to take the beautiful poem you wrote and submit it to Literature category so that I could have a thumbnail for it?
I'll tell you how to do it.
- On your user page go to the top where it says SUBMIT and click on it.
- Choose the category-->Literature It will give you variations of the category...choose the following: poetry, general poetry, free and blank verse then click OK
- Next, scroll down (a little) to where it says ADD TEXT and click on that.
- The last and final step is to copy and paste your poetry into that area and click OK.
You've just created a literature piece. Awesome, huh? Once it's created, send me the thumbnail or link for it. Hugs
If it seems too complicated for you to do I could do it for you but it would be under my name and I'd rather see your work be credited under your name. I hope you can do this. It's such a beautiful piece and would be awesome to be put in your gallery. Let's see how it goes.
